When you visit the website, our server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

When you contact us via a form, we process your details (name, email, phone, message and, where applicable, preferred appointment, vehicle data and photos) to handle your request and prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Data is deleted once the request is closed, at the latest after 6 months – unless a contract is concluded, in which case statutory retention periods apply (up to 10 years, § 147 AO, § 257 HGB).

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

Our WhatsApp buttons are plain links. Only when you click one does WhatsApp open and your message is transmitted via WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta). Data may be transferred to the USA; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Use is voluntary (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). You can always reach us by email or phone instead.

The map of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom) loads only after you consent. Your IP address is then transmitted to OpenStreetMap. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). The EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.

We store your map choice in your browser’s local storage (key “gk-consent”) so we do not ask again. This is technically necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings, which also withdraws your consent.

All fonts are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google or other font providers.

We do not share your data for advertising. Recipients may be our hosting provider (processing on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR) and – in the case of a purchase – the registration office, insurer or financing partner, as far as you request this.

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. A message to info@gk-autohandel.de is sufficient.

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
